3's--> Green Eggs & Ham

     This is Dr. Seuss week!  Yesterday, we celebrated Cat in the Hat with the 4's.  Today, the 3's got to hear Green Eggs and Ham.  We talked about rhyming, silly words, and Dr. Seuss.  We also made predictions about the story.  We even tried green eggs!  All of the kids predicted that they would like them.  However, 2 of the kiddos did not!  Our green eggs were- pretzels, white almond bark with green food coloring, and yellow M&Ms. 

     We also worked on our number recognition of 1-10.  We each got 5 random numbers and we had to match them to the green eggs.  We did a great job!

4's-->Cat in the Hat

     This week we're celebrating Dr. Seuss!  We kicked Monday off with our Cat in the Hat book, wearing silly hats to school, making a Cat in the Hat mask and of course having a silly day!  Our hats were AB patterns.  The kids got to choose which 2 colors their hats would be.

3's--> Painting With Rubber Ducks

     We started a new book Duck On a Bike!  The kids love the prediction of this book and of course the silliness.  We then used rubber ducks to work on our art projects!  This was so much fun.  We talked about the different sizes of ducks and how they make different sized circles.
