This past week our threes celebrated READ Across America and Dr. Seuss' Birthday! We read so many great books, had theme days, and just had fun. We worked on our letter recognition, by rolling dice and finding the letters. We then got to stamp them with our Dr. Seuss stamps!
The class split in to two groups to work with some fish! Our fish bowl group worked on number recognition and had to put their fish crackers on the correct number. Then we got to enjoy the snack when we were done with our hard work.
The other fish group, worked on letter recognition, colors, patterns, and sorting. They got to go fishing! They would then need to say the color of their fish, the letter on the fish, and sort the fish by colors. Later, they took the colored fish and made patterns.
