Last week we started our "Caterpillar" unit. We read
The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle and talked about different foods. We also worked on stringing our own caterpillars (AKA Apple Jacks) on yarn and some of us may have eaten a snack while we worked! ;)
We talked about AB patterns (red, green, red, green) while we made our caterpillars. Stringing our caterpillars really worked our hand muscles and our hand-eye coordination. It was tricky for some of us but we got BIG cheers from the teachers once we got it!
