Each month, I send home a family project. It's a craft that the kids and family can work on together. Once the kids bring it back in, they show their classmates and talk about the project. It's a great introduction to public speaking. This month, the kids decorated their own stockings. They're now hanging by our class fireplace, waiting for a gift at our Christmas party!
