Measuring Bats

It's always great to mix math with our science units!

Bat Week

We have learned so much during our Bat Week. We're experts on echolocation, nocturnal animals and mammals!

Bat Presentations

This week we finished our bat unit. We each  each researched a different bat and shared the new information with the class. Did you know there are more than 1200 species of bats?!?

Apple Orchard Field Trip

Our first field trip of the year was to Curran's Apple Orchard.  We had previously learned about the parts of an apple, had apple taste tests, made apple pies and so much more.  The field trip was the perfect ending to our mini apple unit.
