3...2...1...Blastoff

Today was the day!  The kids have been learning about rockets and everything that makes them go, balance and have lift.  With the beautiful day, we took advantage of it and sent our rockets into space!

Clouds, Clouds, and More Clouds

We have learned all about extreme weather in northern Illinois and the types of clouds.  We've learned about how high or low different couds are, what each type of cloud looks like, and the type of weather that is brought by each type of cloud.  There are four main types of clouds:  Cirrus, Cumulus, Stratus, and Cumulonimbus.  

Grand Day

Keith School loves celebrating the GRAND people in our students' lives.  The students are able to invite their special guest to visit for the morning.  We performed a few choir songs and created a beautiful craft with our guests.

Project Tornado

We had three special guests today!  The meteorologists of Channel 13 WREX stopped by to teach us about severe weather in northern Illinois.  We've been learning about weather over the past couple of weeks and this was a great way to finish up our unit!
